Thread and Yarn

I started Thread and Yarn to connect with other makers and make my wardrobe what I wanted it to be. Nothing I saw in the shops felt like me, and it seemed disconnected from my life. My clothes need to be practical, but also make me feel excited! I'm inspired by the land around me, with a little bit of fantasy too.

I make thoughtfully - choosing natural fibres and spending time adapting fit and learning new techniques. If you want to build confidence with sewing and make your own beautiful, practical clothes, have a look at my patterns and consider joining me for a retreat or workshop here in Stroud.
