Knitting and sewing retreats, with the option to book accommodation. Join me for small group teaching, seasonal food and beautiful surroundings.
One day and evening workshops - more suitable if you're local to Stroud and would prefer a day workshop to a whole retreat.
Get in touch if you'd like to book one-to-one or small group sewing sessions with me in the Cotswold area!
Tuesday evening workshops - 13th + 20th May, and 3rd + 10th June
7-9pm | Wayward Weaves Stroud
Join me at Wayward Weaves in Stroud as we sew a pair of elasticated trousers over four 2-hour Tuesday evening workshops.
Choose between the Bob Pants or Ninni Culottes! The Bobs have a fun bell-shaped leg, and the Ninnis are classic wide-leg culottes.
Saturday 17th May | 10am - 5pm | Wayward Weaves Stroud
Bring your fabric scraps, old shirts, tablecloths and sheets to learn how to make a fun and creative quilt!
Quilting is such a good way to use leftover fabric, or to create something both beautiful and practical from beloved old textiles.
We'll make a mini quilt together to learn the core steps, which you could use as a wall hanging, baby quilt or table decoration. This should give you the confidence and skills to begin making your own bigger quilt, if you like!
Monday evening workshops - 12th + 19th May, and 2nd, 9th and 16th June
7-9pm | Wayward Weaves Stroud
Learn how to make your own zero-waste dress and build confidence using a sewing machine, over five 2-hour Monday evening workshops. There'll be hot drinks and biscuits whenever you need a break!
Monday 12th and Monday 19th May | 9:30am-1pm | In Stitches, Stroud
Join me at In Stitches in Stroud for two 3.5 hour workshops sewing a quilted version of my waistcoat pattern, the Bilbo Vest.
You'll need to know how to use a sewing machine, but the basic vest pattern is great for those new to sewing their own clothes, or looking to build confidence with their sewing machine (and have fun!) If you'd like more of a challenge, you could choose to make a patchwork one.
Join me to celebrate midsummer here in Stroud: a long weekend of knitting, fireside storytelling, Cotswold rambling, homegrown food, willow weaving and fibre kinship.
Rebuild your energy and enjoy cosy crafts and comforting food.

My lovely friend Lucia is offering a limited number of rooms in her historic house, where we're hosting the retreat. There are a range of room sizes and prices.
Homemade breakfast and dinner Thursday and Saturday included.
Dormitory rooms
Excitingly, Lucia is now offering a shared dormitory space in her spacious loft - the old servants' quarters for the house! The room is open plan and shaped as a large 'L' - on one side there is a double bed with a small kitchen counter, sink and kettle. On the other side are two single camp beds (very cosy, I promise).
In between the beds there is a cosy central sitting area. You'll be using the shared family bathroom on the floor below, and the dormitory space is up two flights of (historic!) staircases. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues or who finds stairs tricky. Watch the video (coming soon) to see how the stairs start in the room.
Local to Stroud?
There will also be two non-residential places if you'd prefer to stay at your home and join us for the day activities and the Saturday night Fibre Folk evening.
Loft dormitory
Get in touch if you'd like to organise some one-to-one sewing tuition or small group teaching.
